Big tech companies represented by trade groups clashed with independent repair shop owners on Monday over a proposal to require hardware manufacturers give repair shops the means to fix devices like computers, phones, tablets, and printers. Nevada’s ‘Right to Repair’ Bill was discussed during a committee hearing in the Nevada Legislature.
