There is nothing wrong in 'Rationalization of syllabus' says NCERT director

There is nothing wrong in “rationalization of syllabus” but there is a problem in the thought process of people, said Dinesh Prasad Saklani, director of National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT). The council got flak for deleting portions of social sciences and history from class VI to XII textbooks to reduce burden on students in the post-covid time. “Rationalization of syllabus is nothing new and NCERT has been doing it for years.
