Gujarat HC issues notice over challenge to Central University VC's appointment

The Gujarat high court on Thursday issued notice to the Centre, the University Grants Commission and other authorities concerned over a petition seeking removal of Rama Dubey from the post of vice-chancellor of the Central University of Gujarat claiming that Dubey’s appointment is illegal.
